Incubus : Pacific Rim Tour 2008

No “Redefine” nor “Pardon Me” but they gave one hell of a “Vitamin” performance! Hope they come back soon … Simply ORGASMICTACULAR!!
One more tidbit, Up Dharma Down as the opening act was a splendid choice!
2 Month Abuse
A month of absence and now back with loads of boring crap as always, while this post might not be as bad as those others loitering in this filth, you can’t help to ignore the obvious, that it is still crap.
So, to make the whole story short, I got screwed at the end of 2007, I was diagnosed with gall-bladder stones and have to undergo surgery, unless my already frailing body can handle abdominal pain, oh, just about every freaking second. This is exactly the thing you’d die to hear a couple of hours before New Year’s Eve.
A few days later, they cut me open, pull the thing out, went into psychosomatic depression, they gave me lots of pain-killers (and I mean lots of ‘em, yeah!) and the most hideous fucking memento etched along my abdomen. No more daytime swim for this fellow. The doctor gave me a months rest, enough excuse not to be in Makati working on something that resembles bullshit; drawback … I still have that fucking thing etched in my abdomen. view the rest of this entry »
Monkey See, Monkey Do
Just when I thought the stupidity was over, they plan to roll-out something even more absurd for next year, and yet it seems as though they aren’t flustered by the overwhelming attrition since July.
Only stupid people do stupid things … twice or even more, that pretty much settles what this department genuinely is. Gadz!
Thank goodness I have a new PC rig to calm this incessant work-rage, I still haven’t minded that fresh DOTA installation at home, the gameplay feels moronic, my brother drools over it … go figure.
Burning Permissions

For mostly purist reasons, I’d personally prefer an open-source alternative for burning discs on Linux, not only do they perform at par with their non-FOSS cousins (probably even better) they also don’t cost a penny. But for some people who’ve lived a big part of their IT lives tied up to Windows, some habits really don’t die easily.
I was chatting with a friend having issues with his newly bought DVD burner, he has Ubuntu installed paired with Windows XP in a dual-boot setup. Ironically, his Linux do recognize the DVD-RW but Nero won’t let him use it. Frustrated for the most part, he almost wanted to quit, ready to re-format the Linux partition and just use it as another FAT32 storage. As a longtime Linux advocate, it is my prerogative to pull my poor ol’ friend nearer to the force than see him fall back to the hands of the dark side. view the rest of this entry »
